Definitely one of the better General Rock songs I have listened to. The tune is catchy and well recorded. Needs a bit more EQing, panning and volume editing though. The solo that starts at 1:23 needs a bit of work, I think you could make that sounds a bit better. I'm a guitar player myself so of course there are bits I would change but it's up to you to do that otherwise I'd be co-writing it, lol! What's with the random shout at the end too?
Thanks man. Good review. Yeah this is a rough mix, we'll do all the final mix downs once the song is finished. The random shout is me yelling at the bassist. He was supposed to stop with the rest of us but I guess he just got caught up in the groove lol.
It's okay.
But a lot of the sounds were pretty bad. The bass is pretty horrible and the drums don't have much kick to them. It sounds like you're using presets. I suggest you get a hold of some good drum samples, things like vengeance essential club sounds is a good one. You need to mix it into stereo as well, it's all very mono atm. A rough guide to doing this is to have your basses in the centre and your mid and highs to the left and right. Good luck!

Definitely getting a Dubstep vibe from this man, I like the bass wobbles.
If you want to go ahead and make more Dubstep tracks I advise getting better samples for your symbols and pan your instruments out more so that's it's not so mono. Keep it up man!

Sounds nice and professional. I wouldn't call it drum and bass though, more ambience. While listening to this I can't help but picture some sort of Grand Designs program or an advert for holidays. That's not an insult, that's a compliment!

The kick needs to be quieter at the beginning, it overpowers the snare completely. The tune is great, I like the build-up of the synths. I agree with you that the melody at the end should be changed. Maybe a different sound at that point as well it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the track in my opinion.
I have no doubt that you'll perfect it though man, all I really have to do is keep watch for when the finished piece comes! Great job!
Yeah, people (offline too) have mentioned the kick was too loud, will change next update.
I also agree about that last synth, it needs a lot of work.
